Integration courses

German as foreign language

Integration courses are subsidised language courses divided into three levels A1, A2 and B1, each with 200 hours of instruction. After completing the entire course, a 100-hour orientation course on life in Germany follows, covering the legal system, culture and history of Germany.

The integration course comprises a maximum of 700 hours and ends with the final test "Deutschtest für Zuwanderer" (DTZ) and a test (“Leben in Deutschland”) on the orientation course.

The course consists of a total of 6 modules (B1) and the 7th module (orientation course).

Participants with previous knowledge can start in a higher module.

The appropriate module is determined by a placement test.

We offer these courses as Online-courses or live in our school.

Please contact us for further advice and to make an appointment for a placement test.

You can be exempted from the cost contribution if you are unemployed (SGB II) or receive assistance for living expenses (SGB XII). You can also be exempted if you receive housing benefit or are exempt from the GEZ. It is essential to present a corresponding benefit certificate when registering for the course!
